How is Chem-Dry different from steam cleaning?
Chem-Dry uses Hot Carbonating Extraction, which uses about 80% less water than typical steam cleaning. A carbonated solution lifts soil out of the fibre, so carpets dry fast instead of staying damp for much longer.
How long before I can walk on my carpet?
Most carpets dry fast. Thick pile, poor airflow and cold, damp winter days can add time, and we’ll tell you what to expect for your home.
How do I book, and what does it cost?
Call 0485 995 224, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Your call goes to the Chem-Dry team that covers Central Adelaide. You don’t need to do anything. Tell the team the rooms or furniture, any pets and any problem spots, and they’ll quote over the phone. Price depends on the job, so we don’t publish a “from” price that may not fit your home. There is no online form. A phone call is the quickest way.

We service Central Adelaide, South Australia, including the Adelaide CBD, North Adelaide, Norwood, Unley, Burnside, Prospect, Walkerville and Thebarton. See the full list on our areas page. Can you get rid of pet urine smells that keep coming back?
Often, yes. The smell usually returns because urine residue stays in the carpet backing and underlay, and warm weather wakes it up. P.U.R.T.® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) is Chem-Dry’s treatment for that residue. Call 0485 995 224 and tell us how many spots there are.
Is Chem-Dry eco-certified?
Chem-Dry’s main cleaner, The Natural®, carries EPA Safer Choice and ECOLOGO certifications. It has been independently assessed, and it is made for homes with kids and pets when used as directed.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Chem-Dry is designed for lived-in homes, with a certified main cleaner and far less leftover moisture than steam cleaning. We’ll tell you when it is fine to let kids and pets back onto the floor. If someone has allergies or asthma, mention it when you call.
What services do you offer?
Carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, rug cleaning, mattress cleaning, leather furniture cleaning, stain removal and P.U.R.T.® pet urine removal, all across Central Adelaide.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. We answer the phone until 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. After hours, leave a message any time and we’ll call you back the next business day.
Do you have a shopfront I can visit?
No. Chem-Dry Fresh Look has no public street address in Central Adelaide. We come to your home, so there is nothing to visit. Call 0485 995 224 to book.
